I'm still here!

It feels like I havn't had a spare moment that I could actually call "Kristal Time" till now. During the day, these are the things I have done since being home....cook meals, make cookies, clean/laundry, play with/feed Summer, read James, feed/let dogs out, try to find Slugger after he runs away, Christmas decorating, finishing up volleyball season with our last practices and games. And now finally, I have a chance to sit down at the computer. Just a couple pics for ya cuz it's taking way too long to upload. Maybe I need to upgrade to hi-speed.
Anyways, when I got back home from vacation...I came home to a surprise. Bob and Ry Guy re-carpeted our living room and hallway! The old stuff just had to go. It was so nice coming in to a home with clean, new carpets.
My bigtime main annoyance since being home is SLUGGER! Oh my word I cannot handle it anymore! He is way too hard to manage, high maintenance and needs way more attention than I can give him. I try to take him outside to throw the ball with him just to get him some exersize and he RUNS AWAY! I was NOT going to go find him....not when I have Summer inside sleeping. So I just came inside and left him. I mean, he could be hit by a car, he could get picked up by the pound because he's not registered with the town yet. I hate that he's so defiant and runs away. He looks right at me and when I call him to come, he takes off. GRRRRR. And then, when we're in our small house, he's always under my feet and I'm always runnin into him. He horses around in the living room, he sheds like crazy, and I just wish we had a fenced yard so we could keep him outside. When he came back from running away, I put him in the storage room and left him there most of the day. I was mad at him and plus I wanted to see what it felt like to not have him around and I loved it.
I just don't know how to give him away. He'd love a nice big farm to run around in. But I'd be sad to let him go, but I just can't handle it now that I have Summer. Way too much.
I just put up my tree over yesterday and today. Half the decorations are on now so it's starting to look cozy in our living room. Bob's away in Calgary...he left Wednesday and will get back on Saturday night. He's there with the boys vball team at Provincials. Go team! And I'll be 2 hours from here on Friday and Saturday with my Jr. High Team. Go team! I'm looking forward to having no outside-the-home responsibilities after the weekend.
Summer goes to sleep at 9pm, wakes up at around 2am, but goes right to sleep once I feed her, and then she wakes up again at 6am but goes to sleep again once I feed her and then she wakes up at 8pm. So I have to get up a bunch of times but at least she goes right to sleep again.
Anyways, gotta go to bed.

Sometimes Summer's faces can be so geeky, but i love her so much!
