Our fridge has been acting funny for a while now so a repair man was going to come this morning to fix it. Well, Summer gets up at around 6:30am and I take her to the couch and we fall asleep out there. At 8:00am (while Summer was still sound asleep), the repair guy phones to say that he doesn't know why they scheduled him for Wednesday's because he doesn't come to my town on Wednesday's. So it's rescheduled for Friday now. Bitter because now Summer is awake and definitely not wanting to go back to sleep. Darn because I was really tired. Sweet because my house was clearly a mess and today is going to be a really busy day anyways and I'm glad he's not coming.
The show must go on!!
Below are some pics after we got in from outside. They need to make hats that just stay perfectly on a baby's head somehow. Or maybe they do and Sum's head is just a funny shape or something. Her hat either slides down over her face to cover her eyes and nose (I don't know how the hat could get over her ears anyway), or it slides up to far and just sits on the top of her head. Anyways, so here's how her hat decided to maintain itself yesterday after being outdoors.

that's so funny...it's true, hats are random for babies. we should invent something better :)
