pizza casserole!

I just took pillsbury pizza dough and broke it into little ball chunks and put it in the bottom of the pot. Then I mixed the sauce, meat and veggies together and poured it over the dough balls. Then topped it with cheese. Pretty easy! 400 degrees for 45 minutes. I love pizza!

Summer loves volleyball!

So on Monday, Alberta celebrated the annual Family Day so Bob had the day off. It was great. Sumbum and I woke up at 7:30am and let daddy sleep until 9:30am. I went out to get eggs cuz I wanted a big egg breaky but I came back with $100 worth in groceries. But we needed them anyway.
So I made a big meal, we ate and enjoyed and then cleaned up. We played, vegged, and went for a nice long walk. Then I made scallop potatoes (first time) and fried chicken (love fried chicken). Then I went to play practice.
Play practice is going great, it's so fun! I love that I get to be a stepsister and act dorky the whole time. I hardly have to act at all cuz being dorky comes so naturally. I have this crazy laugh I have to do throughout the play and it's so retarded. The worst is when I dance with the prince and I have to laugh and snort the whole minute I'm dancing with him. What makes it even funnier is the prince is a father of one of my kindergarten kids last year.
When Bob and I walked on Family Day, I decided to practice my play laugh a few times........and I made sure to practice it as we walked past people. Bob was so embarressed :)
Last night marked night 10 that Summer has slept through the night. Life is very good when I get sleep.
Yesterday, I made kind of like a pizza casserole. I went to a Pampered Chef's party and it was what they made there, so I tried to copy it for last night's supper. It turned out pretty good, for my first time making it.
Our washer's been not working for the past 2 weeks so I'm going crazy! We need clean clothes and it's tedious to have to lug all our laundry to our friend's house to do it. We did it once, but would rather not have to bother them to do it again. We had a friend's dad come take a look at it yesterday but he doesn't quite know what's wrong with it. So I'm calling another guy in town today to see if he can come fix it.
Ryan's almost done his flying program here...he just has to write his flight test. So soon, there will just be the three of us. Ryan's been flying a lot, sometimes even a four hour flight. I always tell him there's no way I would ever fly in one of those small planes and he gets defensive with planes and always tells me it's the safest way to travel. I know that, but small planes, esp. 4 seaters are too scary.
American Idol was on last night and I love that show but it was 2 hours and I couldn't stay up past 10pm. I actually wanted to go to bed at 9:30pm but I allowed myself to stay up a bit. I don't watch much T.V. but I really love American Idol. And the only show I watch in the afternoon is Ellen. She is the funniest person ever! And Oprah will be on her show on Thursday and I'm not sure why but I'm pumped to see that. I know that they've been up for the same awards all the time for daytime talk shows and lately Ellen's been winning. Wow, this is so random. Yesterday, I was all, "Bob, guess what...2 more days!" And he was all, "For what?" And I was all, "Oprah is on Ellen!" He thinks I'm a nutbar.
Summer is loving her bath. I wish I could get her out to the pool more often! They have so many programs there, like, moms and tots swim time, family swim time, water excersize for mom's and they have people there to look after your kids....it's $4.50 each time or $60 for a month pass I think. Can't afford that now but I hope to be able to soon because I know she'd love swimming often.
Summer's not really interested in T.V. which is good....she'd rather play in her bouncer or on the floor with me. She esp. loves her volleyball. She only watches Treehouse first thing in the morning when I bring her to the couch to give her her bottle and that's when I do my blog checking. Then it's playtime and more food from then until her nap.
Last weekend we were in SK with the boys bball team. It was a long drive but it was fun. I enjoy keeping stats and watching the team, while the parents take turns holding Summer. And on the way back, Matt sat with Summer and fed her and kept her asleep so I could sleep in the seats behind him. So great to have all that help!
Basketball will soon be wrapping up mid-March. Bob had an offer to coach a bball club team in a town 30 minutes away. So we're praying about that to see what the Lord will have him do. It would be from April until June, 3 tourny's and probably a couple practices a week.
Anyways, that's all for now. I know this is long and random and may even be boring but this is my life!
