Survey Time

Aprons - Y/N? I don't even own an apron but it would definitely be a wise purchase because when I attempt to bake, most of it lands on me instead of in the bowl. I made one in family studies once!

Baking - Favorite thing to bake? Hmmmm. Probably cookies but the most recent easy dessert I made was strawberry pie. But it was just strawberries and jello. Does jello count as baking?

Clothesline - Y/N? When we moved into this place, the line was broken and we never got it fixed. When mom was out here, she desperately wanted to fix it but we never got around to it. We don't pay for electricity so dryer all the way.

Donuts - Ever made them? Nope, and probably never will. But one should never say never.

Everyday - One homemaking thing you do everyday? Dishes. Neverending.

Freezer - Do you have a separate deep freezer? Yah, Joel snagged us a big deep freezer somehow shortly after we moved here. It's sweet, I love stockin up.

Garbage Disposal - Y/N? Yup. His name's Ryan. Although lately, he's not been very good at eating leftovers and then after a week or longer, we find them in the fridge and they get turfed. Eat the leftovers Ryan!

Handbook - Y/N? If I was in school, it would be my daily planner, but since I'm not, it's my calender.

Ironing - Havn't ironed a single thing in 2.5 years or longer. No need to. My clothes just go in the dryer and as soon as they're done, I fold them right away so that I have no wrinkles. I remember being obsessed with ironing out every single wrinkle, I think because Erin and Anne were obsessed with NO WRINKLES on anything so I had to be like them.

Junk Drawer - third drawer down. Has party decorations, tape, candles, odds n ends.

Kitchen - Two red walls (a cool shade, not blood red) and two creamy colored walls that I painted myself 2 weeks before Summer came. I have a window shelf on one with pics and candles and another shelf above the sink with the same. A clock on another and that's about it.

Love - What is your favorite part of homemaking? When the house is completely clean, which it hasn't been in a while and when something I bake or cook turns out good.

Mop - Y/N? I have one but I hate mopping often because it doesn't seem worth it....the very next day the floor gets dirty again because of this weather.

Nylons - Havn't worn them in years. I usually wear dress pants or my tall boots with my skirt so the only thing showing is my kneecaps and knees don't get cold.
Oven - Do you use the window or open it to check? Usually both

Pizza - What do you put on yours? ham, mushrooms, cheese

Quiet - What do you do during the day when you get a quiet moment? Either have a nap, or clean up a bit.

Recipe card box - Y/N? I have one that Bob's aunt's gave us.

Style of house - a 3 bedroom, one bathroom bungalo that is definitly falling apart on the outside, but we do our best to keep our inside cozy.

Tablecloths and napkins - Y/N? We use napkins and a tablecloth in between meals for show. But it comes off during meal time.

Under the kitchen sink - I hate under the kitchen sink. Cleaning supplies, garbage bags, old pipes.

Vacuum - Probably once a week and Bob does it all the time. I hate it.

Wash - none. our washer is broken right now and has been for almost 2 weeks! we have someone coming to look at it tomorrow thankfully! But normally about 4 a week. Not including Ryan's.

X's - Do you keep a list of things to do and cross them off? I love lists and can't get anything done without them. They hold me accountable.

Yard - Who does what? Bob mostly mows but I really like to mow. My mom and Uncle James started our garden for us so I guess I have to upkeep that when the weather is nicer.

ZZZ's - tonight, it was making apple turnovers for our late night snack. Most nights, it's tidying the living room.

Now I tag.....Tanya
