A Dorey Rhyme

And now, a limerick eloquently overspoken by my father often quoted while performing an interpretive dance:

One day in the middle of the night,
Two dead boys got up to fight.
Back to back they faced each other,
Drew their swords and shot each other.
Two deaf policemen heard their cry
And came to rescue the two dead boys.
If you don't believe me, ask the blind man,
He saw it all through a hole in the barbwire fence.
