4 YeArS!!

August 17th, 2002 was just four short years ago when Bob and I committed our lives to each other. I asked Bob a couple days ago if he thought that the four years has seemed like they flew by or if it seems like we've been married longer. I agreed with him when he said that it's gone by so fast.
Four years just go by so fast! Like, when you go to university, you're looking at at least 4 years to finish a degree. Before going to university, I dreaded the thought of being in school for 4 years. But after school was finished, I couldn't believe that four years were finally up! It's because those four years were filled with countless memories, both good and bad, that have taught me so much about myself, my relationship with Christ, my relationship with people and so much more.
It's been the same ride in our marriage. The four years have flown by and have been filled with love, tears, forgiveness, learning and growing experiences, but most of all LOVE. God has blessed our marriage in so many ways; it's miraculous really. Especially with baby Summer.
In reading one of Karen Kingsbury's novels, she gave a great definition of love. Karen says that "Love is what happens when people forgive".
That's how we know and can be sure our heavenly Father loves us so much.....because he forgives us of our sins without question when we come before him. And because of that great reminder, that makes it easier (for me anyways) to forgive, even when it's hard.
I am anticipating what God has in store for the Murray family in the future. I know that his hand is on our future because He says I know the plans I have for you....
All we have to do is just trust Him. Thank-you Lord for my family and all the blessings that come with it.
