So all last night and all day today I've been having CONTRACTIONS! They havn't been consistantly distanced apart though so nothing to be on edge about. For one hour, they were every 10 min. apart and then the next hour they were spread out like, 15, 10, 5, 8 13 min apart. So not that consistent.
They're painful but nothin I can't handle, until they get way worse. If I went in to the hospital today to just get checked, my doctor (who's on call all weekend) would have me stay and induce me so that's why I'm NOT going in just yet. If I can hold off until tomorrow evening, that would be great! Cuz then mom would be here.
That's why I've just done nothing but sit and read all day. Less movement equals less chance of bringin on active labor. I hope.
Bob's konked out in the living room; I kept him up all last night with my moving and contractions. Poor guy. I'll let him have his rest while I just go read more. So did everyone take off for the long weekend? Sheesh, no blogs for me to read.

i hope that you can hold off till your mom gets there.. that would be awesome, but just make sure that you don't wait too long to go to the hospital.. you wouldn't want bob to deliver your baby in the car or someplace!! :)

I am anxiously waiting to hear about this baby! I hope that your mom gets there in time! I know how that feels. My mom, dad, and Scott's parents got there before I had Emma - so nice! But they looked at me funny every time I took a deep breath or changed positions on the couch. Nothing like having 5 people whip their heads around every time you move like you're going to explode or something! Blog while your in labor - it will keep your mind off the pain! That could be a new lamaze trick. Glad the coconut stick worked.
I was letting Lisa read your blog and our prediction is tomorrow 4:37pm and we think it's a boy. She said you are carrying the same way she did when she had Josh. We added more to our blog just cause I wanted you to have more to read.
You seem so calm, after the first contraction I would have made them admitt me, if not into the delivery ward then into the psych unit- you are doing so good!!!! I can't wait !!!
