It starts TONIGHT! Our dress rehersal for cinderella starts TONIGHT! We're all allowed to invite two guests to watch it so to me, our play beginnings is official! Bob has a college game tonight so he can't be there, and I have no one else to invite because all the people I know already got tickets. Oh well.
I'm nervous!!!! Not about being on stage, but scared that I'll forget one of my props for a scene, or scared that my hair or makeup won't turn out the way I imagine it looking. I hope we all remember our lines...I know it's just a dress rehersal but common people, the opening show is on Wednesday! Surely we will have our lines in check.....I hope!
The comic relief characters are the stepsisters and Lionel, the prince's servant. We havn't actually had an audience other than our cast, so I'm wondering how much the audience will laugh cuz that can really throw ya off if you're not expecting for a certain line to be funny. Good thing we're doing two dress rehersals before opening.
And good thing that I'm a stepsister and I have the pressure of trying to be funny. Good thing.
I have so much to do today but I'm so scatterbrained and don't know where to start....laundry, dishes, supper (gotta get it ready early today), find a sitter for the Sum. Get all my props together. Do my hair. Ahhh.

Here is my prediction. Tonight's dress rehearsal is going to SUCK! Big time. Props will be forgotten, dresses won't be put on right, lines will be flubbed...it will seem like a disaster. Certain individuals may even cry.
Tomorrow's dress rehearsal will go quite a bit better, and by Wednesday we will ROCK!
When I get home and you read this, you can tell me if I was right or not. LOL!!

The prince is giving a ball definitely sucked!! Lines definitely flubbed. Good thing we practiced more after. And Good thing there were only 3 people in the audience!
