It seems like I've been getting babysitters every night the past two weeks because I've had my play and Bob's had basketball. But finally, tonight, everything will slooowww down!
Which is great because yard sale season is starting up so every Saturday Bob and I, and now Summer, can begin our traditional Saturday yardsaling. Love it.
Yesterday, as I was coming into my house, Chloe (who I taught in Kindergarten last year) came up to me and was all, "Here Mrs. Murray, this is an early Easter present for you." It was a branch with like, 6 pussy willows on it. I get so many presents from the kids on the street here. So I said thanks, and started coming in my house and she started to take off. Then she was all, "Oh yah, Mrs. Murray....did you notice anything different about me?" I was all, "a new haircut?" And she proudly shook her head yes. Oh the funny conversations with grade 1ers.
So yesterday my friend Melissa invited me and Summer over along with 4 other mom's and babies to hang out. It was fun to hang around adults and let Summer play with the other kiddies. Melissa made peanut butter pie that was sooooo good! There were 5 baby boys and Summer. She had fine pickin to choose from :)
A couple days ago I got my hair cut, short again. I told her, make it short enough so I can't put it in a ponytail. I can't handle that I would always put it up because I could. Now I have to actually do it, which takes no time at all. The mom cut. But I like it and I guess the shorter it is, the more I can do it curly/wavy.
