Golfing In The Rain

Wow it has been raining here in the Prairies like crazy lately! This is supposed to be the dry season, after May's shower season. If this is the dry season i want no part of any rainy season around here.There is flooding in Three Hills; stores had to shut down early to clean up and sandbag.

We had our 6th Annual Prairie Golf Tournament today and it rained all day straight. I golfed with Riemersma (one of our friends) and two guys who sponsored a hole in one contest. It was fun, but boy did we get wet. We finished tied for 3rd and it went to a putt off which we won so we got some money to spend in the pro-shop (I got a golf dri-fit type short sleeve windshirt).

I just got home and Kris is really tired, sometimes I wish she would take more breaks. I dont like seeing her worn out. She is resting now, so hopefully she feels energized when she wakes up.

Well my High- Driving a ball 340 yards today on a par 4 369 yard hole.
My Low- waking up at 4:45 to go set up the course at 5:30 am.
