First of all, let me just tell you that our bathtub faucet leaks. I can't handle it. This is a pic of our just about full tub of leaked water in 4 hours. And it's not just any water...it's hot water that WE PAY FOR! So in one day, just from leaking water we fill.....6 tubs of hot water. And the Prairie College (our landlords) say that it's not on their list of priorities to take care of. Makes me want to spit.
So let's see....did I have a break at all today? Don't think so. I'm wiped. We traditionally woke up at 7:30am this fine Saturday, went yardsaling (found a cool lamp and Ikea bamboo curtains), went to the school and drew a full dinosaur wall mural for my kindergarten closing, and just got back from watching the hockey game with friends. My life will be nothing but jam-packed now until the evening of Thursday, June 22 when my kindergarten closing is OVER. That is when I will begin to smell freedom. I'm actually smelling a bit of freedom now as I continue to remember that Sunday School teaching is OVER for Bob and I. We're having a Sunday School Picnic tomorrow in celebration and boy will I be celebrating. It was an adventure for sure, but I think teaching jr. high is just not my think.
High of the day: Finishing drawing the dino mural.
Low of the day: Over-volumed televisions. Hurts the head.
