While Bob put together the dog run fence, I set up my staining area and got to work. We bought a bed frame from IKEA that was unfinished so now it's time to color it the way we want. We decided on Dark Walnut. This bed will be for our guest room, since we'll be having family in August and we will also be renting a room to a guy who played on our bball/vball teams. So we need a spiffed up guest room.You would not believe how excited I am to have this dog run, oh my word. We just bought it today and I think it's the wisest purchase we've ever made. Maybe an exaggeration, but it's so great to have, especially since it's the summer and the baby is on the way.
Normally, when we have company or if we go out somewheres or if we're busy and we don't want them under our feet we put them in the storage room which gets sooo hot in the summer. Not good for them to be couped up in a hot space. So now they can hang out outside. We're gonna put a tarp over half of it to shade them. They don't really like it now, but they will. Isn't it so great?
