So my class went on a field trip to Reptile World today. This is Britney the boa. I figured if my kids could be brave enough to hold this creature then I could be. Behind my smiley brave face was a feeling of desperation for the instructor guy to take this thing away from me. But I figured that I probably might not have this opportunity to hold a snake and get a pic of it, so "now or never" was my philosophy.

you couldn't pay me enough money to hold, or even touch, that snake. i'd have nightmares. how'd babysitting go? i highly recommend you forget babysitting and enjoy your maternity leave!!!!!
of course i'm gonna enjoy mat. leave. i can hardly wait. Babysitting went good. I was there from 8-4, and the two older kids played outside most of the day, and baby quinn had two naps while i was there and i took him outside once in the afternoon for a bit. anyways, the mom tried to pay me $80! as if! i'm still in the mentality of getting $3-$5 an hour. I was so embarressed when she gave it to me, so I gave her $40 back and she couldn't believe I was doing that. But whatever, I barely did anything cuz they were easy kids!
80 bucks?!? holy i wish my parents would pay that much!!!! hokey dinah!!!
